Tasting Notes
Appearance — Color Tone
A deep ruby red. Beautiful purple nuances spread towards the rim, and light dances through the glass.
Scent — Aroma
A rich fruity aroma of black cherry, plum, and dried fig. A complex aroma with layers of tobacco, spice, and Mediterranean herbs.
Flavor — Aftertaste
A full-bodied wine with a powerful structure. Ripe fruit flavors and fine tannins blend together, while limestone-derived minerals create a long, lingering finish.
STINA = Stone
The winery is based on the island of Brač , renowned worldwide for its pure white limestone (Stina). This same stone, used in the construction of the White House, gives rise to the wine.
"An artistic masterpiece that inspires the drinker."
Located on a challenging slope over 400 meters above sea level with a maximum gradient of 45 degrees , the vineyard's lean limestone soil draws the grapevines' roots deep into the ground, producing concentrated fruit and mineral-rich wines.
The pure white label evokes the image of "drawing paper." From the moment you hold the bottle, memories of the Adriatic Sea landscape and the sun unfold.
Recommended pairings
Grilled lamb
The herb-infused lamb chops and tannins intertwine perfectly.
Beef stew
For stews with rich sauces, such as pastizza.
Aged cheese
Parmigiano and Pecorino are complex, aged types.
Game meat dishes
The wild flavors of venison and wild boar enhance the wine's robust character.
Stina, our best-selling wine. Its beautiful white label is eye-catching, but the contents are equally impressive. It boasts rich fruit flavors ripened under the southern sun, yet the minerality from the limestone soil provides a balanced finish, making it easy to drink without becoming tiresome. We confidently recommend this wine as a gift!
