Regarding Natural Sediment

As a natural agricultural product, harmless sediment may occasionally be present, which does not affect the quality. Please fully enjoy the beautiful fruitiness and elegant taste.

The Story

The Story of the Indigenous Bratina Grape and Winemaking
Bratina is a captivating indigenous grape variety native to Herzegovina. Due to a unique botanical characteristic (self-incompatibility), it cannot self-pollinate and thus requires other varieties, such as Alicante Bouschet, to be planted alongside it in the vineyard. This natural partnership results in a wine with vibrant red fruit flavors, distinctive earthy notes, and exceptional freshness.

The grapes are meticulously hand-picked from Nuic's carefully managed vineyards. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the bright fruit flavors and the varietal's natural aromas, followed by careful aging before bottling.

Vineyard & Terroir

Terroir of Ljubuski (Herzegovina)
Cultivated at an altitude of 140 meters, the vines grow in a striking combination of typical karst limestone and vibrant red earth (terra rossa). The vineyards experience fierce Mediterranean summers cooled by gentle breezes. This dynamic climate allows the Bratina variety to achieve perfect sun-drenched ripeness while maintaining vibrant acidity.
