Serpens is a dynamic boutique winery located in the world-renowned Tokaj region of Hungary. ■ Appearance: Bright, pale straw color with a fine, lively mousse (bubbles).
■ Aroma: Fresh, fruity, and highly inviting. Pure aromas of crisp green apple burst forth, complemented by delicate white floral notes.
■ Palate: Light, invigorating, and surprisingly crisp. The naturally high acidity of the Furmint grape provides a lively structure, while elegant and persistent bubbles deliver a vibrant, apple-driven finish that dances on the palate.
Furmint is the undisputed king of Hungarian white grapes, globally revered for its role in sweet Tokaji Aszú wines. However, its naturally high acidity, delicate fruit, and profound ability to reflect terroir make it incredibly well-suited for producing high-quality sparkling wines. Harvested early to preserve optimal acidity and vibrant freshness, it undergoes careful secondary fermentation to create refined and elegant bubbles. This Brut style is perfectly balanced, harmonizing the grape's natural crispness with a hint of fruity sweetness.
