■ Appearance: A beautiful, deep ruby red color with both depth and clarity.

■ Aroma: The sweet fruit aromas of ripe black cherry and plum, characteristic of Merlot, spread pleasantly. Additionally, the complex scent of vanilla, chocolate, and a subtle hint of warm spices like cinnamon, derived from aging (partially) in French oak barrels, intertwines.

■ Taste: The palate is very rich and mellow. Velvety smooth tannins and rich fruit flavors are elegantly balanced. A moderate acidity tightens the overall structure, and the finish lingers luxuriously with notes of dark chocolate and berries.

Alexandr, the owner and founder of Et Cetera winery, has a unique background, having once soared the skies as a small airplane pilot in America. He returned to his hometown of Moldova and, with his family, poured his passion into starting this winery.

The vineyard is located in the village of Crocmaz, in the renowned Ștefan Vodă region of southeastern Moldova. This area is close to the Black Sea, where a pleasant sea breeze with moderate humidity blows, softening the strong midday sun in summer.

This unique microclimate and mineral-rich fertile soil allow the grapes to mature slowly, producing the concentrated yet very elegant Merlot with beautiful acidity characteristic of the Aeroplane series.
