A brilliant Mediterranean gem with an enchanting burst of floral aromas and a surprisingly refreshing, dry finish.
Tasting Notes
■ Appearance: Bright, pale gold with delicate silver-green reflections.
■ Nose: Highly expressive and aromatic. An intoxicating cascade of jasmine, orange blossom, white peach, and fresh lime bursts from the glass.
■ Palate: A beautiful paradox. While the nose is sweetly floral, the palate is strikingly bone-dry, crisp, and fresh. It offers bright citrus flavors and a lingering finish of sea-kissed minerality.
Open a bottle of sunshine, and this vibrant, aromatic masterpiece will transport you straight to the sparkling blue shores of Cap Bon. Its intense floral aromatics and dry, refreshing backbone make it a surprisingly versatile companion.
Story
Peak of North African Viticulture
Hailing from Tunisia’s sun-drenched Cap Bon peninsula, this iconic wine represents the pinnacle of North African viticulture. Crafted under strict AOC standards, it beautifully captures the essence of the Mediterranean coastline, blending centuries of winemaking heritage with refreshing coastal energy. Muscat of Alexandria, one of the world's oldest grape varieties, is renowned for its intensely aromatic and "grapey" floral profile. In Kelibia, this variety finds its ultimate expression as a world-class dry wine. The grapes are carefully hand-picked in small crates and immediately cooled to preserve their freshness. After a brief skin contact to extract intense aromatics, the wine undergoes slow, cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks, locking in its delicate floral bouquet and crisp acidity.
Food Pairing
Recommended dishes that pair perfectly with this wine:
- ■ Grilled White Fish with Lemon and Herbs: The wine's vibrant citrus and mineral notes resonate perfectly with the fresh, coastal flavors of the seafood.
- ■ Spicy Thai Green Curry: The incredibly aromatic jasmine and orange blossom bouquet offers a cooling, fragrant contrast to the chili and lemongrass heat.
- ■ Salad with Fresh Feta and Goat Cheese: The wine's invigorating acidity beautifully cuts through and refreshes the creamy, tangy richness of young, salty Mediterranean cheeses.
Serving Temperature: 10℃〜12℃ (Enjoy at this temperature range to bring out its full richness)
Vineyard & Terroir
Cap Bon Peninsula, Kelibia: Located on the northeastern tip of Tunisia, the vineyards bask in abundant Mediterranean sunshine yet are constantly cooled by relentless sea breezes. This unique coastal terroir, characterized by well-drained sandy and clay soils, allows the grapes to achieve perfect aromatic maturity while retaining vibrant, refreshing acidity.
“If you think Muscat is only for sweet wines, this Tunisian gem will utterly change your mind! The way those intense jasmine aromatics translate into such a clean, energetic, and dry finish is simply magical. It's like bottling a Mediterranean summer breeze.”
