A luxurious traditional method sparkling wine, produced only in exceptional years and limited to just 2,000 bottles. Established in 1998, Radacini Wines is the pride of Moldova, the birthplace of European wine. Through the collaboration of an ambitious local winemaking team and renowned Italian winemaker Umberto Menini, with 50 years of experience, world-class craftsmanship has been applied to the finest grapes from their own vineyards.
Tasting Notes
■ Appearance: A beautiful, brilliant golden color with fine, very persistent bubbles.
■ Aroma: Enticing aromas of fresh apple, pear, and yellow peach intertwine with delicate floral nuances, leading to elegant toasted brioche notes developed through long-term bottle aging.
■ Palate: The palate is fresh and harmonious, overflowing with vibrant fruit and a hint of honey. It glides smoothly, offering a superb combination of grand scale, complex and delicate flavors, and rich volume.
Cultivated from grapes with an average vine age of 10-12 years in Radacini's vast 1,000-hectare estate vineyards. Harvested carefully by hand, the blend features Chardonnay for elegance and acidity, complemented by Pinot Blanc and Pinot Meunier for structure and vibrant fruit. Only the highest quality first-press juice is used. Employing the traditional Champagne method (4.3 bar pressure), selected French yeasts are used for secondary fermentation in the bottle. The 2018 vintage underwent 9 months of sur lie aging in the bottle, followed by an impressive additional 24 months of aging before disgorgement.

Radacini was awarded "Moldova's Best Winery of the Year 2020" by the Moldovan government. Furthermore, it is the first and only winery in Moldova to obtain the strict international food safety certifications BRC and IFS, guaranteeing its unwavering quality. It has also received global accolades, including a "Grand Gold" at Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2024 and a "Gold Medal" at Mundus Vini 2021.
