Tasting Notes

■ Appearance: Dazzling lemon-green reflecting light. From the moment it's poured into the glass, the lively energy hidden within the wine is apparent.

■ Aroma: A very vibrant and dynamic aroma that overflows from the glass with spring white flowers, fragrant elderflower, exotic lychee, refreshing lime, and crisp green apple.

■ Taste: A remarkably refreshing and expressive taste, despite being bone-dry. With the first sip, a lively, appetite-whetting citrus energy bursts forth, seamlessly expanding into a wonderfully textured mid-palate. Here, layers of sun-kissed juicy apricot and luscious lychee beautifully intermingle with the delicate, lingering finish of elderflower. This intricate dance of subtle exotic fruits and floral notes is skillfully woven together by an elegant mineral framework reminiscent of crushed stone. The vibrant, lively acidity drives the entire wine, enhancing the fruit and leading to a long, pure, and perfectly thirst-quenching finish.

Tasting Notes Vibe: White flowers, lychee, lime
Grape Charm and Approach

Tamianka is the Bulgarian synonym for the noble ancient grape "Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains." Globally known for its sweet and fragrant aroma, when carefully cultivated in the right terroir, it transforms into an exceptionally elegant dry white wine.

The Story

Meticulous Winemaking Process
The grapes are hand-picked from a single vineyard. To preserve its vibrant aroma and fresh acidity, no oak barrels are used; fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, it undergoes short-term aging on fine lees (sur lie) to add depth and complexity to the flavor.

Château Burgozone is known for elevating the terroir of northern Bulgaria to international standards, and its pure, fruity style has earned numerous medals in international competitions. (Danubian Plain PGI - proving the superior quality of a single vineyard)

Food Pairing

The vibrant aroma and crisp, dry finish make it surprisingly versatile, even with dishes often considered difficult to pair with wine. Recommended perfect matches for this wine:

  • ■ White fish carpaccio with citrus – The wine's nuances of lime and green apple perfectly harmonize with citrus dressings, enhancing the umami of fresh fish.
  • ■ Vegetable tempura – The wine's refreshing acidity and minerality act like "salt and lemon," making the tempura batter light and enjoyable.
  • ■ Thai Green Curry or Pad Thai – The exotic aromas of lychee and elderflower beautifully complement the herbs and spices of ethnic cuisine. Its dry profile ensures it doesn't overpower the meal.

Serving Temperature: 8℃〜10℃ (Enjoy at this temperature to bring out its full richness)

Food Pairing: Carpaccio or Asian cuisine
Vineyard & Terroir

Orehovitsa Region (Danubian Plain)
Located at the same latitude as Tuscany, Italy, our vineyards stretch across slopes overlooking the Danube River. The well-drained calcareous loess soil, cool breezes from the river, and significant diurnal temperature variations provide the grapes with rich natural acidity and a thirst-quenching, pure minerality.

Dejan Avatar

"If you think 'Muscat grapes = sweet,' this wine will change your mind! It has an explosive, beautiful floral aroma, yet on the palate, it's sharp and clean with a dry finish. It's a true hidden gem of Bulgaria, excellent with Asian cuisine."
