Meaning "Royal Maiden," Fetească Regală is one of Romania's most beloved and important white grape varieties. It combines bright citrus and beautiful floral aromas with a refreshing yet firm structure that makes it easy to pair with food. To preserve its natural acidity, the grapes are hand-picked in early September, followed by 2 hours of cold maceration at the winery to extract beautiful aromas. Fermentation then takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks (16°C), and the wine is aged exclusively in stainless steel to maintain its pure, crisp fruitiness, without malolactic fermentation.
