Indigenous Zelen and Thorough Biodynamic Viticulture
Zelen is a rare indigenous grape variety native to the Vipava Valley. Cherished by local producers for centuries, this grape yields a refreshing and aromatic wine with unique herbaceous and mineral characteristics unmatched anywhere else in the world.

Cultivated by Zmago Petrič of Guerila using strict biodynamic methods. Grapes are carefully hand-picked and pressed, then naturally fermented with wild yeasts only. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 9 months on its lees in stainless steel tanks to develop a smooth complexity, and then bottled in strict accordance with the biodynamic calendar. (Limited production: 6,700 bottles)

Thanks to its structure from short skin contact and vibrant minerality, this Zelen is incredibly versatile and perfectly complements elegant and flavorful dishes.
