A Balkan Treasure Born from Extreme Mountain Terroir
Located in the heart of Montenegro's rugged mountainous region at 400m above sea level, Lipovac Winery embraces the challenging environment of a harsh climate and rocky terrain. Their limited-production wines brilliantly express the deep, wild minerality characteristic of the Balkans.

While Chardonnay, a French native, is a beloved white grape worldwide, it has adapted magnificently to Montenegro's extreme mountain terroir, producing wines that combine international elegance with unique Balkan power. Grapes are hand-picked after rigorous double sorting and gently pressed using dry ice to completely prevent oxidation. They are then fermented for approximately 30 days exclusively in new French oak barrels (225L and 500L). Furthermore, weekly batonnage (lees stirring) in the barrels for 8 months builds a rich, creamy, and complex mouthfeel. This is the crystallization of the winery's exceptional skill, consistently winning top medals at international wine competitions in the Balkans year after year.

The rich, creamy texture and vibrant acidity of this barrel-aged Chardonnay pair wonderfully with luxurious seafood, richly flavored chicken dishes, and creamy sauces.
