■ Palate: Extremely fresh and intensely fruity. It glides across the palate with smooth, soft tannins and lively acidity, leading to a pure, unadulterated finish of red fruits.
This blend of the powerful, earthy Merlot and the spicy, elegant fruit of Pinot Noir embodies a superb marriage of two classic varieties, uniquely shaped by the warmth of the Mediterranean climate.
The Story
The Meticulously Dedicated Family Estate: Korenika & Moškon
Korenika & Moškon is a meticulously dedicated family estate overlooking the sea in the Istrian region of Slovenia. As pioneers of biodynamic farming, they produce highly authentic, low-intervention wines that truly express the terroir of the salty sea air and pristine hillsides.
Grown organically and biodynamically. To maintain perfect and delicate tannin extraction, a short and gentle 5-day maceration on skins with indigenous yeasts is performed in stainless steel tanks. Afterwards, the wine is aged for 5-7 months on fine lees (sur lie) before bottling, building a seamless and elegant texture.

The wine's wonderful freshness and light tannin structure make it a surprisingly versatile red that can easily be paired with robust seafood and grilled vegetables:
