The Legendary Ancient Variety Rkatsiteli and Traditional Skin Contact
Rkatsiteli is an ancient thick-skinned grape variety originally from Georgia, known for its vibrant acidity and robust structure. Historically, it has been considered the ultimate grape for producing complex and long-aging orange wines.

Moving away from modern white wine production methods, this wine is made using extended skin contact. The white grapes are crushed and then fermented in their juice with the skins and seeds. This naturally extracts the deep amber color, rich phenolic texture, and complex tannins, after which the wine is carefully aged to soften and harmonize the flavors.

Combining the acidity of white wine with the tannins of red wine, this amber wine is incredibly versatile and powerful enough to stand up to rich, spicy, and umami-laden dishes:
