"Métier" signifies the expert craftsmanship honed through experience. This high-level traditional method sparkling wine is limited to just 3,000 bottles. Established in 1998, Radacini Wines is the pride of Moldova, the historical birthplace of European wine. This exquisite product is born from the collaboration between an ambitious local winemaking team and Umberto Menini, an Italian veteran winemaker with 50 years of experience, using 100% carefully hand-picked grapes from their own vineyards.
Tasting Notes
■ Appearance: A vibrant straw yellow with elegant golden and green reflections.
■ Aroma: Fresh and elegant aromas that burst from the glass, highlighting lively citrus and crisp green apple notes.
■ Taste: Characterized by fine, persistent bubbles. Gooseberry and citrus flavors are beautifully enveloped in sophisticated mineral nuances, creating a firm and satisfying mouthfeel. This is a true sparkling wine fit for a gourmet dining table.
A sophisticated blend using grapes from vines with an average age of 10-12 years. Chardonnay contributes elegance, Pinot Blanc provides structure, and Sauvignon Blanc brings lively, fresh aromas. It is made using the traditional method (secondary fermentation in the bottle) by winemaker Marian Haraba. Grapes are hand-picked in mid-September with strict yield control (6t/ha). Only the first press juice is fermented for 20 days in stainless steel tanks at 13-15°C. Subsequently, secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle using selected French yeasts, followed by a minimum of 9 months of sur lie aging at 15°C, and then cold stabilization.

Vineyard & Terroir
Codru Region, Central Moldova
The vineyards, situated at an altitude of 140 meters, boast high-density planting of 6,000 to 7,500 vines per hectare. The grapevines are carefully cultivated using organic fertilizers in carbonate-rich black soil (chernozem). This meticulous approach imparts a distinct minerality and profound depth to the wine.
"'Métier' wonderfully demonstrates Moldova's incredible craftsmanship. Its delicate bubbles carry refreshing green apple and mineral notes, making it an outstanding premium sparkling wine that stands its ground even when paired with rich gourmet dishes."
