Tasting Notes
■ Appearance: A deep and beautiful ruby red, with a pomegranate-like brilliance.
■ Aroma: Ripe cherry and strawberry red fruit aromas intertwined with complex notes of dried plum, blackberry, cinnamon, and vanilla derived from high-quality French oak.
■ Taste: A velvety smooth and elegant mouthfeel. Juicy berry fruit flavors spread across the palate with supple tannins and beautiful acidity, maintaining a perfect balance, leading to a long, savory finish of French oak.
Rara Neagră, an ancient indigenous Moldovan grape variety meaning "precious black," is difficult to cultivate and yields low harvests, making it extremely rare. However, it produces an exceptionally elegant and captivating wine with a flamboyant aroma and vibrant acidity.
Only the finest grapes are carefully hand-harvested and selected. After fermentation using traditional methods, the wine is luxuriously aged for 9 months in new French oak barrels (barriques). This achieves a perfect harmony between the pure umami of the fruit and the complex flavors derived from the barrel.
