When I stand before this land, I always wish to be a "learner." To engage with the harsh nature of the Adriatic Sea and listen to the voice of Brač island's soil. The "Stina" born from this is more than just wine.
Tasting Notes
■ Appearance: Deep ruby red, with beautiful purple nuances around the rim.
■ Aroma: Rich fruit aromas of black cherry and dried fig. Complex notes of tobacco, spice, and Mediterranean herbs.
■ Palate: Full-bodied with a powerful structure. Ripe fruit flavors and firm tannins are harmonized, followed by a long, mineral-driven finish.
A freshly opened bottle may still hold its true essence within a hard shell. First, decant the wine and allow it to breathe quietly for about an hour.
The STINA Story
A Blank Canvas — An Invitation to Creation
The pure white label that wraps the Stina bottle symbolizes a pristine sheet of paper before an artist makes their first stroke.
Food Pairing
With the firm tannins characteristic of Plavac Mali and complex flavors reminiscent of Mediterranean herbs, we propose Japanese food pairings that beautifully enhance its power while maintaining elegance.
- ■ Umami Bridge: Miso and earthy flavors (Nasu Dengaku - grilled eggplant with miso, Yaki Ginkgo - grilled ginkgo nuts)
- ■ Grilled Dishes: Seared fatty tuna with black pepper, Yakitori (Negima - chicken and scallion, Liver)
- ■ Elegant Meat Dishes: Seared wagyu beef with garlic chips, Grilled duck breast
- ■ Modern Style: Smoked daikon radish and cream cheese (Iburigakko Cream Cheese)
The char of miso, the aroma of charcoal, and the zest of spices. These elements harmonize with the wine's aroma, bringing out the ripe fruit flavors even more deliciously.
Serving temperature: 16-18℃ (slightly cooler than room temperature) is recommended.
Vineyard & Terroir
The White Stone of Brač Island
Brač Island, floating in the Adriatic Sea, is home to beautiful limestone known as "white stone." This harsh environment imparts an exceptional minerality and power to the wine.
"Through each bottle, I hope to forge a quiet bond of trust with you all. Please take your time to savor this taste, filled with the honesty of its producers."
