Tasting Notes
■ Appearance: Deep ruby color with youthful purple nuances on the rim.
■ Aroma: Ripe raspberries and blackberries intertwine with wild, characteristic Teran herbs, forest floor, and the sweet spices of vanilla and chocolate.
■ Palate: Powerful and concentrated on the palate, with a vibrant acidity typical of Teran providing structure. The tannins, matured for 12 months in French oak, are incredibly smooth, leading to a long finish with a mineral sensation reminiscent of the sea.
We recommend decanting 1-2 hours before serving. Over time, the aromas will open up, revealing the true charm of Teran.
The Story
"Terra Mare" - A story of sea and land
Born from the Terra Rossa (red soil) vineyards near the sea at the southern tip of the Istrian Peninsula. Producer Bruno Trapan believes that "wine is a mirror reflecting life" and crafts wines with a free spirit unconstrained by tradition. "Terra Mare," named after his daughter, is a special bottle symbolizing his love for his family and the Istrian terroir.
